Board of Directors & Officer Responsibilities

President

  • Conduct the affairs of the FCB and execute the policies established by the Board of Directors.
  • Present an annual report on the condition of the FCB.
  • Communicate matters of importance to the Board and recommend actions promoting the welfare of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with AYF and PYFCL policies and regulations.
  • Designate authority, when approved by the Board, to execute contracts or leases.
  • Investigate complaints or irregularities and report findings to the Board.
  • Prepare and submit the annual budget and oversee its execution.
  • May authorize expenditures up to $1,000 between Board meetings.

Vice President

  • Serve as Acting President when authorized.
  • Oversee registration schedules, processes, advertising, and forms.
  • Coordinate volunteers with the Parent/Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Provide oversight of Fundraising, Facilities, Concessions, and Merchandise.
  • Serve as an ex-officio member of all non-competition committees.

Secretary

  • Maintain organizational records and files.
  • Record meeting minutes and official correspondence.
  • Notify members and committees of meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain bylaws and record amendments.
  • Verify quorum at official meetings.
  • Maintain all financial records.
  • Deposit and manage organizational funds.
  • Prepare the annual budget.
  • Present financial reports at Board meetings.
  • File required tax documents.
  • Coordinate scholarship administration.
  • Monitor fundraising compliance with the Fundraising Director.

Treasurer

  • Maintain all financial records.
  • Deposit and manage organizational funds.
  • Prepare the annual budget.
  • Present financial reports at Board meetings.
  • File required tax documents.
  • Coordinate scholarship administration.
  • Monitor fundraising compliance with the Fundraising Director.

Assistant Treasurer (Appointed)

  • Assist the Treasurer in all needs
  • Act in the duties of the treasurer if the Treasurer is not available

Cheer Director

  • Oversee coach recruitment, interviews, background checks, and training.
  • Communicate with Head Cheer Coaches.
  • Ensure compliance with the AYF Coaches Code of Conduct.
  • Present and manage the annual Cheer Budget.
  • Oversee Spirit Competition and squad assignments.
  • Ensure consistent cheer instruction across all age groups.
  • Handle coaching concerns and recommend discipline when appropriate.

Assistant Cheer Director (Appointed)

  • Assist the Cheer Director in all needs

Football Director

  • Oversee football coach recruitment and training.
  • Communicate Board and \ information to coaches.
  • Develop the football equipment budget.
  • Obtain quotes for major equipment purchases.
  • May authorize expenditures up to $100 without Board approval.
  • Manage football equipment inventory and distribution.
  • Coordinate scrimmages, scores, and MPR reporting.
  • Ensure consistent football instruction across all age groups.
  • Handle coaching concerns and recommend discipline when appropriate.

Assistant Football Director (appointed)

  • Assist the Football Director in all needs

Fundraising Director

  • Develop and manage the annual fundraising plan.
  • Lead the Fundraising Committee.
  • Communicate fundraising activities.
  • Ensure ethical and cost-effective fundraising.

Assistant Fundraising Director (Appointed)

  • Assist the Facility Director in all needs

Concession Director

  • Manage concession inventory and operations.
  • Coordinate concession volunteers.
  • Maintain financial records.
  • Ensure health code compliance.

Assistant Concessions (Appointed)

  • Assist the Concessions Director in all needs

Facility Director

  • Maintain the Fieldhouse and surrounding facilities.
  • Coordinate facility volunteers.
  • Manage waste disposal.
  • Coordinate with Clemmons Elementary.
  • Develop the maintenance budget.

Assistant Facilities (Appointed)

  • Assist the Facility Director in all needs

Team Parent / Volunteer Coordinator

  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers.
  • Communicate fundraising and organizational information.
  • Support coaches and Team Parents.
  • Coordinate academic eligibility paperwork.

Assistant Team Parent/Volunteer Coordinator (Appointed)

  • Assist the Facility Director in all needs

Merchandise Coordinator

  • Manage merchandise purchasing, inventory, and sales.
  • Evaluate vendors.
  • Develop the merchandise budget.
  • Coordinate store staffing.
